Fujairah UAE://FUJAIRAH ROCKS Art Exhibition last June 11-13 at the Tennis and Country Club Fujairah was a smashing success,HUGE rocks, quarried less than a kilometer away were placed at the entrance and hand-painted by internationally known POP Artist Marco to greet the guests as they arrived.

Inaugurated by beloved Crown Prince of Fujairah HH Sheik Mohamad Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the event celebrated the "I LOVE FUJAIRAH" campaign the goal of which is promote Fujairah as a GLOBAL TOURIST destination by highlighting all of the wonderful things to see and do in this very unique and special Emirate.

The event was attended by a high profile group of individuals who through their related efforts in the fields of media, tourism, travel, and business are working hard to showcase all Fujairah has to offer.

Original artworks by Marco were on display including: original acrylic on canvas paintings, limited edition prints, a collector's item "Alien Baby" Swatch Watch, and two Original "NYC LOVES UAE" tribute paintings one of which was presented to His Highness the Crown Prince.

The event would not have been complete without the namesake of the event FUJAIRAH ROCKS being represented. Marco hand-painted and signed 43 actual rocks from Fujariah one for each year since the Union of the Emirates and placed each in it's own box which has a plaque that had it's unique number from 1 to 43 with NUMBER ONE given as a gift to His Highness, the Crown Prince.

On the afternoon of the following day Marco hosted a Children's Art Day. Many children attended including Special Needs Children from the Rising Sun Center for Special Needs in Fujairah. Tables were set up and Marco went from one child to another asking them what they'd like him to draw for them. Marco drew Castles, Princesses, Cars, Butterflies, and Cats for the happy children who then filled in Marco's drawings with colored magic markers and crayons. Each drawing was signed by Marco and at the end of the event all the children got to take home their very own original collaborative artwork that they made with the famous artist! Two very lucky winners went home with a special prize; a limited edition print by Marco and a commemorative FUJAIRAH ROCKS mug!
The Evening of the following third and final day featured a special FUJAIRAH ROCKS ROCK CONCERT at Mcgettigan's Irish Pub at featuring top award winning performers who came as far as Dubai to support FJUAIRAH ROCKS and the I LOVE FUJAIRAH Campaign. The event featured live performances of famous ROCK songs, contests, a very special singing appearance by Marco himself for the third and final set of the night who was on hand to introduce the official worldwide debut of the music video Marco directed shot and edited of his band THE EXPATS new single which was titled appropriately “I LOVE FUJAIRAH” a “ROCK ANTHEM” to Fujairah with lyrics and vocals by Marco and Music by Legendary British Rocker Steve Sackman, one of the founders of the seminal UK Punk Rock band Generation X. Their single “I LOVE FUJAIRAH” is available on Amazon, iTunes and other online music providers, the first time in the history of the emirate that an English Anthem to Fujairah was available online worldwide proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that FUJAIRAH ROCKS!

The entire event was organized by En' Route Media's CEO Aishah Yousef who was extremely pleased with the turn out and honored to have His Highness the Crown Prince inaugurate Fujairah Rocks.
